    Hi Scott,
It was really nice to meet you yesterday! I wish i were riding with you, but your blog will have to suffice. I am excited to follow along on your adventure though, and wish you the safest of travels!

Hey Rusty! I’m now in anchorage. MANY fat bikes around here. You’d love it!

time to start over and read about the beginnings of your adventure. Speaking of beginnings…I biked up Boreas Pass the other day with Maria and our friend James. We found the elusive Gold Dust Trail (we couldn’t find it when riding the Divide). So we rode it to Como. It was a sweet ten mile single track trail with a fabulous stream crossing. Remember eating dinner with Dan, Tim, Zack and myself in the Como Depot and I took that picture of you with the chocolate cake? Then there was the nice cozy fire and the cowboy playing his guitar near the fireplace? That was such a great night, and especially because we met you after descending Boreas in the storm. Here’s to adventure!
